In Loving Memory of Finley James.

Born sleeping. Always remembered.

 

The Finley James Fund was created in memory of one precious little boy who changed everything.

 

When Finley died in the NICU the day after he was born in 2020, we were moved to a postnatal ward to spend our final moments together, a space not designed for loss or grief. There was no bereavement suite. No quiet, private space. No support in place for what we were going through.

 

In that heartbreak, a mission was born: to raise awareness, raise funds, and ensure that no family has to walk this path alone.

 

Today, The Finley James Fund supports bereaved families across four Essex hospitals with Memory Boxes, Sibling Memory Boxes, Memory Pendants, Rainbow Packs, and safe space events. We honour over 600 babies each year. And we continue to stand with every family, no matter when, where, or how their baby was lost.

 

It started with Finley. Now, it’s for every baby, and every family, who deserves to be remembered.
